Dear colleagues,

We would like to invite you to submit a full paper to a Special Issue on "Diffuse Optical Imaging" to be published in the International Journal of Biomedical Imaging (http://www.hindawi.com/journals/ijbi/). The special is issue is now open to receive submissions of full research papers for peer- review and possible publication.

This Special Issue will be fully open access, meaning that all interested readers are able to freely access the journal online at (http://www.hindawi.com/journals/ijbi/contents/) without the need for a subscription.  Moreover, all published articles will be made available on PubMed Central and indexed in PubMed at the time of publication.

The International Journal of Biomedical Imaging (ISSN 1687-4188) is an international journal of imaging launched in 2006. The journal International Journal of Biomedical Imaging covers the topics of data acquisition, image reconstruction, and image analysis, involving theories, methods, systems, and applications, and it is to promote research and development of biomedical imaging by publishing high-quality papers, reviews, and tutorials in this rapidly growing interdisciplinary field.
